N.J. man arrested in killing of two men at Bedford motel

CONCORD - A New Jersey man has been arrested in the killing of two men at a Bedford motel on Saturday.

Theodore Luckey, 42, of Ashbury Park, N.J., was charged with two counts of second degree murder and three counts of being a felon in possession of a deadly weapon.

Bedford Police responded to the Country Inn and Suites just after 7 p.m. where they found two adult males deceased: one in the lobby and a second in a hotel room.

Based upon the information gathered so far, this incident appears to be contained and the individuals involved have been identified, according to a press release.

Autopsies are expected to be completed and additional information will be released as it becomes available while protecting the integrity of the investigation.

The names of the victims were not released pending notification of next of kin.
