NH lags behind other New England states in unemployment rate recovery: report

Maine is No. 5, Vermont is No. 17 and New Hampshire No. 38 in a WalletHub report published today on the states whose unemployment claims are recovering the quickest.

While new unemployment claims have started to pick up again due to spikes in COVID-19, last week they were still 79% below the peak during the COVID-19 pandemic.
