GONIC - Armand G. Toussaint, 90, of Gonic, died Oct., 6, 2013, at Hyder Family Hospice House.

He was born in Thornton, Mass., September 15, 1923, the son of Eudore and Cora (St. Armond) Toussaint.

Armand was the widower of Goldie (Grant) Toussaint who died August 8, 2010

He was retired from Great Falls Products Company where he had been a foreman.

Armand's life was his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother. 

Members of his family include his daughters, Carol Delaney-Ridolfi and Husband William of Guilford, Conn., Barbara Whitten and husband Thomas of Berwick, Maine, and Patricia Cullen and husband Larry of Rochester; brothers, Richard Toussaint and wife, Tish, of South Berwick and Raymond Toussaint of Dover; a sister, Agnes Jones and husband, Harold, of Lebanon, Maine, Armand's 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and his companion, Barbara Hanley of Farmington.

He was preceded in death by his stepson, Jerry Greenlaw. 

 

ARRANGEMENTS

Visitation will be Thursday from 8:45 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. at Bernier Funeral Home 49 South Street Somersworth followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish in St. Martin Church, Somersworth with Rev. Michael S. Taylor, pastor, as celebrant.

Burial will be in New Town Cemetery, Rollinsford.
