ROCHESTER - Laurette R. Carrier, 83, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at the Rochester Manor in Rochester after a long period of failing health.

Mrs. Carrier was born in Gonic, on Jan. 11, 1930, a daughter of Cyrolle and Ellanne (Verville) Bibeau and was a lifelong resident of Rochester. Before her to her retirement she worked at the Davidson Rubber Company for many years and before that employment she worked as a housekeeper for many area families as well as a volunteer at Gerry's Food Pantry in Rochester. She was predeceased by a son, Ronald Carrier, who died in 2009 and by a sister, Dolores Platt, who died in 2005.

Surviving members of the family include: three sons, Robert Carrier and his wife Diane of Milton, Dennis Carrier of Rochester, and Donald Carrier and his life partner Thomas French of Melrose, Mass., one brother, Gerald Bibeau and his wife Helen of Rochester, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, a special niece, Dolores Burnell of Rochester, and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

 

ARRANGEMENTS

Visitation will be held at the H. J. Grondin & Son Funeral Home, 177 North Main Street, Rochester, N.H. on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon. Funeral Services will be held at noon Wednesday, following visitation in the chapel of the funeral home, with burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery. Memorial donation may be made to either the N.H.
