MILTON - Lucille Josephine Spinale, 73, who along with her husband opened up and helped run the former Spinale’s Italian Restaurant in Milton, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Oct. 3, 2013, at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston after a long battle with Lymphoma.

Lucille was born on June 30, 1940, in Revere, Mass., to parents Michael and Lucy Agri.

She grew up in Everett, Mass., and married her high school sweetheart Frank Spinale on June 7, 1959. They moved to Saugus, Mass., where they were happily married for 54 years and proud parents of five children. They owned and operated Spinale's Pizza on Lincoln Ave. in Saugus, Mass., before opening up two restaurants: Top of the Hill Steak House and Spinale's Italian Restaurant in Milton, which they owned and operated with their sons Frank and Robert Spinale for more than 20 years.
