ROCHESTER - Estelle J. Clement, 86, formerly of Rochester, died Thursday, Nov 14, 2013, at The Hospice Care Center in Spring Hill, Fla., after a short illness.

For the last seven years Estelle has lived in Slidell, La., and Spring Hill with her daughter and son-in-law.

Estelle was born Dec. 18, 1926, in Rochester, the daughter of the late Arthur and Marie Anna (Larochelle) Dumont.

Estelle worked in various factories and nursing homes in the Rochester area. She retired from St Ann Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Estelle was especially proud of her children and grandchildren. Estelle loved camping, knitting and crocheting and ice cream.

Estelle is survived by her children, Carol Rolland and husband Francois of Spring Hill, and Linda Gagnon of Farmington, Maine; two granddaughters, Maryann Grunewald of Lamberton, Minn., and Tina Collins of Wilton, Maine; five grandchildren, Jenna and Jacob Grunewald of Lamberton, and Ethan Derric, and Eric Collins of Wilton, Maine; one sister, Rena Houde of Eliot, Maine; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brothers, Rudolph and Larry; and her sisters, Florence Desmarais and Thelma Lilljedahl, and her longtime companion Joe Delude.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date with burial at Holy Rosary Cemetery.
