One injured, one cited in head-on Farmington Road crash

ROCHESTER - One motorist was injured and another cited in a head-on collision on Farmington Road Tuesday night.

The crash occurred around 8:25 in the area of Country Tire when police say Bruce Anderson, 41, of Rochester, was driving an Audi A4 north on Farmington Road when a Hyundai Sante Fe headed south and driven by Cortney Bookholz, 23, of Epping, NH, made a left into the parking lot of Country Tire and the two vehicles met head-on.

Anderson was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with what were described as nonlife threatening injuries. Bookholz was issued a citation for failure of traffic turning left to yield.
