LEBANON - Lebanon Fire-EMS recently held an open house where children were able to get dressed in forestry gear and use water packs to put out a tree "on fire." They were surprised at how far the water could spray.

Also, the fire crews used the new Holmatro cutting and spreading tools to cut a car apart.

During the open house Lebanon resident Deborah Wilson presented an American Flag to Lebanon Chief Daniel Meehan on behalf of Soldier's Helpers. The flag had flown previously over one of our country's military bases in Afghanistan, and will be displayed in the Blaisdell Corner Station 2.

This flag was presented in honor of Soldier's Helpers founder Chris Greenleaf, who lost his life only days after donating the flag.
