Pa. man arrested in burglary after found on residence roof at 4:45 a.m.

SOMERSWORTH - A Pennsylvania man was arrested on burglary charges early today after police say he was found on the roof of a Highland Street building around 4:45 a.m.

Somersworth Police responded to the address after the person living there called in to report they heard someone in the residence. Officers on scene located a suspect, who was taken into custody.

Further investigation showed that the suspect was known to the victim from online social media. It was determined the suspect had driven to New Hampshire from Pennsylvania, and was temporarily staying at a Portsmouth Airbnb.

Police say the suspect entered the home with the intent to commit theft and invasion of privacy.

Taken into custody was Mauricio Damian Guerrero, 20, of 1902 Arrowood Drive, Bensalem, Pa.

Guerrero was charged with two counts of burglary/nighttime/residence, a Class A felony; and two counts of burglary/daytime/residence, a Class B felony.

Guerrero refused bail and was transported to Strafford County Jail pending arraignment today in Strafford County Superior Court.
