Panel of experts to discuss health care amid pandemic

ROCHESTER - The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce on Monday announced the fourth session of its Community Connections series during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The programs feature discussions, held remotely, with a panel of speakers who provide information and answer questions on various business and community topics.

The session on Friday begins at 10 a.m. and will feature the program "Access to Healthcare and COVID-19 Testing Update." Since the COVID-19 situation began, what has changed, how is healthcare accessed, what is being done virtually vs. in-person, protocols to keep staff/patients safe, access/eligibility to COVID-19 testing and turnaround time for results and more.

The panel of speakers for this program will feature a representative from ClearChoiceMD Urgent Care; Dr. Mark Pundt, President & Chief Medical Officer at ConvenientMD Urgent Care; Jeff Scionti- CEO, MT ASCP at Frisbie Memorial Hospital; and Julie Reynolds President/Chief Executive Officer at Cornerstone VNA.

The panel will answer questions from businesses. Registrants are encouraged to submit questions they may have for the speakers upon registering under "Questions for Speakers", or via email to events@rochesternh.org.
