ROCHESTER - The female passenger who died in a car crash on North Main Street Tuesday has been identified as Nancy Rapson, 69, of Rochester.

The driver, Henry T. Rapson, 70, was driving southbound in a 2007 Hyundai Elantra around 1:20 p.m. in the area of 306 North Main St. when he veered off the southbound shoulder and struck a utility pole.

Nancy Rapson was pronounced dead at the scene.

Henry Rapson was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
