Pedestrian suffers life threatening injuries in Farmington Road accident

ROCHESTER - A pedestrian walking along Farmington Road suffered life threatening injuries when struck by a car Saturday night.

The accident occurred in the area of Crane Drive around 8:55 p.m. when police say Dylan Bilodeau, 25, of Rochester, was driving a Nissan Versa south on Farmington Road when he struck the victim, who was not identified by police.

The injured person, who was found in the roadway, was transported to Portsmouth Regional Hospital with what were described as life threatening injuries.

The Strafford County Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team responded to the scene to assist with the investigation. As a result, Farmington Road was shut down for around three hours.
