FARMINGTON - Phyllis June Sprague, 92, died peacefully Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at the Celebration Hospital, in Kissimmee, Fla. She was born in Farmington June 17, 1925, and was the eldest daughter of Floyd and Marion (Holder) Towle.
After graduating from Farmington High school as class valedictorian in 1943 she worked as payroll clerk at Rondeau Shoe Shop in Farmington. Later, with her husband, Ralph, offered a cleaning service for the Farmington Bank.
She enjoyed the beach, her garden, picking wild berries, braiding rugs, cooking, being a caregiver.
She is predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Ralph C. Sprague of Winter Garden, Florida, her sister Jean C. Towle of Rochester, and her brother Floyd "Skip" Towle, of Rochester.
Phyllis will be missed by her daughter Carolyn Goodwin and her husband, Steve of Rochester; her son Kurt Sprague of Winter Garden, Florida; her two granddaughters , Susan Funk and her husband Michael, of Rochester, and Stacy Reynolds and her husband Tobey, of Alton, and their families including five generations of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
