ROCHESTER - Rochester Police are actively investigating an untimely death in the city that was discovered on Saturday.

Police found the deceased individual at a Highland Street address around 3:15 p.m., according to Rochester Police Capt. Todd Pinkham.

The Attorney General's Office was notified immediately, however, they had not released a statement as of today.

Pinkham said the identity of the deceased is not being released pending notification of next of kin.

He also did not identify the individual's age or the sex. Police also said they have not identified who made the call to alert them about the death.

Pinkham said there is no danger to the public.
