Police on lookout for female suspect in Walmart robbery

SOMERSWORTH - Area police are on the lookout today for a suspect who walked into the Somersworth Walmart and robbed the store of an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect walked into the store around 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday, went directly to the store's Money Center and demanded money, according to Somersworth Police.

After receiving the undisclosed sum, they left the store on foot and fled in what appears to be a green Subaru wagon.

The suspect is described as white - and believed to be a female - who was wearing a green winter hat, black scarf was pulled up over her face, a black peacoat, black gloves, black pants and black shoes.

In a press release today police did not reveal whether the suspect brandished a weapon or used a note.
