Staff Reports

ROCHESTER - A downtown eatery was robbed on Sunday.

Police say a man walked into Dos Amigos on Wakefield Street around 6 p.m., told a worker it was a robbery and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robber fled on foot, and a K9 unit was called, but no track was discovered.

The robber made a gesture that led workers to believe he was armed, but no weapon was ever shown, police said.

The suspect is described as white, about 5-11 with brown hair, scruffy facial hair, about 18-25 years old and wearing a hooded sweatshirt, jeans and sunglasses.

No one was hurt in the robbery.

Anyone with information on this robbery is asked to call the Rochester Police Department.
