Police probe whether medical issue may have caused fatal crash

LEBANON - State Police said today they are looking into whether a Waterboro woman was having a medical issue when she crashed her van into a tree Tuesday night, killing her.

Michelle Miller, 47, was pronounced dead at the scene after her van crashed in the area of 406 Depot Road a little before 8 p.m.

A Lifeflight was requested but canceled when her death was confirmed.

Traffic in the area was shut down while first responders worked and reopened around 11:30 p.m.

No further information on the crash has been released.
