Police probing untimely death at Wyandotte Falls apts.

ROCHESTER - Police are investigating the discovery of a body inside the Wyandotte Falls apartments on Saturday.

The death is being ruled untimely pending results of an autopsy.

Police were called to the scene around 1:35 p.m. after a maintenance man at the apartments discovered the body inside a former boiler room.

Police located and recovered the body, however the sex and age of the victim were not released. The former boiler room is only accessible from an outside door that is normally padlocked, Rochester Police Capt. Jason Thomas said today.

The body was removed, and transported to the Medical Examiner's office. At this point police say there is no evidence of foul play.

Police will be working with the medical examiner to identify the victim.
