Police seek public's help in rash of car break-ins

ALFRED - The York County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the public’s assistance in solving what appears to be a rash of car break-ins in Shapleigh, Acton and Lebanon.

The suspects are thought to have gone through many streets in the three towns stealing items from unlocked cars.

Surveillance footage of individuals who may have information about the break-ins was made available by the York County Sheriff’s Office on Monday.

Cars are said to have been hit on Sanborn Road in Acton, Goding Road in Acton and Lebanon and Jim Grant Road in Lebanon among others.

State Police and Berwick police are also said to be involved in the case, according to information obtained by The Lebanon Voice.
