PORTSMOUTH - New Hampshire State Police today are seeking potential additional victims of a man accused of committing indecent acts in view of other drivers on Interstate 95 on Monday.

Troopers first got involved around 2:35 p.m. on Monday when they responded to a report of a man performing a sex act on himself while driving on I-95 northbound in Portsmouth.

Soon after the suspect was identified as Jonathan Ma, 27, of Portsmouth.

Following further investigation, Troopers obtained a warrant for Ma's arrest, and on Saturday they took him into custody at a home in Portsmouth.

Ma has been charged with indecent exposure and lewdness (subsequent offense), and a violation-level offense of negligent driving. He was held in preventive detention at the Rockingham County Jail pending an appearance in Portsmouth District Court.

Based on the information developed during the investigation, Troopers believe there are additional unreported incidents. Anyone who can assist in this investigation or who has additional incidents to report is asked to contact Trooper Clark Brighton at Clark.A.Brighton@dos.nh.gov.
