ROCHESTER - A collection will be conducted for the Homeless Center of Strafford County on Friday during the city's Christmas Tree Lighting in the downtown.

Requested for donations are new book for ages 8-17, new puzzles for ages 12-plus, paper towels and toilet paper.

Items will be collected at the tree lighting and at Service Credit Union Branches in Rochester at 90 S. Main St., at SCU's branch inside Walmart and at the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce at 18 S. Main St.
