'Race to Serve' to aid city nonprofit takes place on Labor Day at Holy Rosary Church

ROCHESTER - The Knights of Columbus, Father McDonald Assembly, announced on Thursday that the "Race to Serve" will take place on Labor Day, Sept. 1, in the parking lot of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church at 189 North Main St. The event comprises a charitable 5K and 10K run/walk, with proceeds benefiting the Michael's Treasure 603 Foundation of Rochester. Michael's Treasure supports a variety of local organizations, including the Rochester Fellowship Kitchen and Options for Women. In addition to the race, Family Day will offer a range of fun activities, including gaga ball, archery, spike ball and a self-contained BB range. Event activities will run from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with the race beginning at 9:00 a.m. This is a rain-or-shine event. To register or make a donation, please visit www.MichaelsTreasure603.org.
