DOVER - Rachel M. Dube, 85, of Dover died on Wednesday December 8, 2021 at the Wentworth Douglass Hospital. Rachel was born on August 19, 1936, one of 12 children, in Van Buren, Maine, the daughter of Norman and Cecile (Levasseur) Gagnon. Rachel lived in Enfield and worked as a chef for the La Salette Missionary cooking for the priests and brothers. She went on to work as a pastry and bread chef for the Shaker Inn in Enfield.

Rachel is survived by her husband of 24 years, Romeo Dube of Dover. She leaves behind four children; Amber Neal, John Neal, Jr. and his wife Joyce, Joseph Neal and his wife Kim, and Jeffrey Neal and his wife Tina; 8 grandchildren, Teia, John III, Josh, Shelby, John, Ryan, Cory and Jacob; 6 siblings Michael Gagnon, Joyce Gagnon, Mary Ann Gagnon and her husband Bill Ogle, Peter Gagnon and his wife Sandy, John Gagnon and his wife Louisette, and Stephen Gagnon and his wife Susan; 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Rachel was a loving stepmother/grandmother to Romeo's children, Donna Gomez and her husband Daryl, Mark Dube and his wife Debbie; Michelle Morrill and Reneé Jerram; grandchildren Tatiana, Nicholas, Emily, Colby and Max as well as 2 great grandchildren.
