Richard D. Glidden ... longtime RCC member

MILTON - Richard D. Glidden, of Milton, N.H., and Avon Park, Fla., passed away suddenly in his sleep while visiting family in Richmond, Ken., on Feb. 4, 2016.
He was known to all who loved him as "Dickie Darlin" and "Bampie" to his grandchildren.
Loving, generous, humorous, king of "short cuts", master handyman, avid golfer and member of Rochester Country Club for over 30 years and an avid sports enthusiast never giving up on his Boston based teams. He had a huge heart and there wasn't anything that he would not do for family and friends.
He was retired from Oasis Alignment Services in Gonic after having worked for 17 years at Simplex Wire & Cable Co. He served in the Navy from 1955-1958.
Dickie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. Survived by the love of his life of 54 years, wife Rosemarie (Bunker) Glidden; daughter Jamie Lynn Glidden Kinsley; Grandson Marine Corp Lance Corporal Tyler B. Kinsley; granddaughters Carlee Lynn and Taralee Kinsley; grandson Brian Kinsley and wife Sarah Page Kinsley; great grand-daughter Olivia Husted; sister-in-law Rebecca and husband Robert Goble; former son-in-law Walter Kinsley; brothers Carl; Melvin and wife Patricia; Edgar and wife Elaine; Arthur and wife Marcia; Franklin and wife Beth; Robert and wife Linda Glidden; sisters Ellen McIntyre; Shirley and husband Norman Pelletier, sister-in-law Joyce Glidden; numerous nieces and nephews; and many very close friends in N.H., and Florida, where he wintered. He was predeceased by parents Clarence and Mary Webber Glidden, sister Kathleen and brother Kenneth Glidden; sister-in-law Patricia Miller Glidden and most recently by sister-in-law Rosanne Bunker Lorden of Richmond.
