FARMINGTON - Robert (Buzz, Buzzy) Nelson Phillips Sr., 71, of Farmington, died peacefully at his home in Osage City, Kan. on Monday, Jan. 18, 2021.
Buzz was born on Jan. 31, 1949, in Farmington, to Nelson Waylan Phillips and Doris Isabel Moulton Phillips.
Buzz enlisted in the Navy in 1967 where he worked as a mechanic. He later spent about 15+ years working as a mechanic at E&B garage.
Buzz was preceded in death by his parents, nephew Jeff, and several aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his wife Gloria; his children Robert and wife, Tammy and husband, Tabetha and husband, Tina and partner, Angela and boyfriend and Bob Jr; 22 grandchildren; sister Peggy and husband, brother David, brother Mike and wife and many nieces and nephews.
