ROCHESTER - Rochester's Fire Department announced on Friday that it has launched its new website, giving residents an updated and modern space to access department news, resources and safety information.

The new site has a clean, user-friendly design featuring large photos, a news blog and easy access to fire prevention resources, Interim Chief Mark Dupuis said in a new release.

"Our new website will provide the community with an updated platform to follow what's happening in the department and access important safety information," Dupuis said. "I hope residents will take a moment to browse the new site, become familiar with its features, and read our latest news posts."

Sections featured on the website include department history, a complete roster and permit information. Residents can also visit the news blog to stay up to date with all of the latest fire department news and updates.

The website was designed and created by John Guilfoil Public Relations LLC (JGPR) as part of the company's ongoing contract with The City of Rochester to provide communications and digital services for the city.
