LEBANON, Maine - A Rochester man has been arrested on arson charges related to his alleged destruction of four vehicles in Lebanon. Fire crews first got involved on April 6 when they were dispatched around 2 p.m. to a wooded lot at 158 Upper Barley Road where they found four vehicles that had been destroyed by fire. Following a lengthy investigation by the State Fire Marshal and the York County Sheriff's Office, an arrest warrant was issued for 27-year-old Jayce Racicot of Rochester, N.H. The property where the fires occurred is owned by Racicot's grandfather, according to a Maine Dept. of Public Safety press release sent on Tuesday. He owned three of the four vehicles that were destroyed. On Friday Racicot was arrested by the Rochester, New Hampshire Police Department on the outstanding warrant. He is currently being held at the Strafford County Department of Corrections pending a fugitive from justice hearing.
