DOVER - A Rochester man was sentenced to one to three years in state prison today for drug trafficking.

Scott R. McAllister, 31, formerly of Lafayette Street, pleaded guilty to nine separate cases today, mostly for drug possession over the past several years.

According to Strafford County Attorney Tom Velardi, the sentence was predominantly driven by a drug trafficking arrest on Feb. 28, 2021.

McAllister is expected to begin his sentence today.

He will also have to pay a $500 fine and $120 penalty assessment, Velardi said.
