PORTLAND, Maine - The Rochester man seriously injured in a rollover crash on the Spaulding Turnpike on Friday continues to improve but is not out of the woods yet.

A passenger in the car, 54-year-old James Gosselin of Rochester, died at the scene.

Police say the accident occurred when Douglas' Subaru Forester
appears to have been traveling southbound when it lost control, struck the center concrete barrier, traveled off the right side of the roadway and rolled over several times in the area of Exit 15.
At this time it appears that speed may have been a factor in this crash, however all aspects remain under investigation.
