ROCHESTER - A Rochester man was injured early today when his car crashed into a stone wall on Rochester Hill Road.

Police and Frisbie Memorial Hospital EMTs responded to the call around 4:40 a.m. and found a 1999 Chevrolet Lumina in the southbound lane in the vicinity of Tebbetts Road with heavy damage and the driver of the car in the rear seat.

Scott Fewless, 48, had to be extricated from the vehicle by Rochester Fire. He was transported by Frisbie Memorial Hospital by Frisbie EMS with what were described as nonlife threatening injuries.

No other occupants or vehicles were involved.

According to police, Fewless had been traveling northbound on Rochester Hill Road when he lost control of his vehicle, spun around and struck a tree and stone wall off the southbound side of the roadway. The vehicle then bounced back into the roadway, police said.

The crash remains under investigation.
