ROCHESTER - A Rochester man was seriously injured early today when he lost control after his car struck an icy patch on Cross Road and crashed into two nearby parked vehicles.
The accident occurred around 1:45 a.m. In the area of 13 Cross Road when police say a 2004 Cadillac CTS driven by Tyler Leary, 28 was traveling west when he lost control on an icy patch, left the roadway, went through a fence at 11 Cross Road and struck a vehicle at 13 Cross Road which then struck another.
Leary was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries.
The Cadillac sustained heavy damage while the other two vehicles took moderate damage, police say, with fencing and other debris spread over a large area.
The Cadillac had to be towed from the scene. Officers conducted further investigation at Frisbie Memorial Hospital, resulting in Leary being charged with driving after revocation or suspension. He faces a January court date.
