CONCORD, N.H. - A Rochester man is being sought by state police after he failed to report back to a Department of Corrections housing unit on Thursday night after a work release.
Herbert Clark-Hoover Janvrin III, of Rochester, left the state transitional housing unit Thursday morning to go to work but never returned.
Janvrin, a minimum security inmate, was placed on escape status Thursday afternoon.
Janvrin had been sentenced in Rockingham County Superior Court to one to two years for burglary in December 2014, according to a Department of Corrections press release. He was eligible for parole in October, but it was not granted. His maximum release date is in October.
Janvrin is described as 6 feet tall and 215 pounds with black hair and green eyes. He has tattoos on his back, neck, left arm, right arm, left hand, and left shoulder.
