ROCHESTER - A Sunday fire in a Lilac Drive mobile home displaced a family of five.

Firefighters got the call around 3 p.m. and arrived at 6 Lilac Drive to find heavy smoke coming from the building.

The blaze was brought under control in a little over half an hour but not before the single-wide was damaged enough that it was found uninhabitable, officials said.

The American Red Cross was on hand to help the family find shelter for the night.

No injuries were reported.

An investigation into the cause of the blaze is under way.
