ROCHESTER - A Rochester motorcyclist was injured Sunday when another motorist crossed into the bike's path as they attempted to turn left into the Care Pharmacy on South Main Street.

The accident occurred around 4:50 p.m., when police say 71-year-old Robert Rellstab was riding his Kawasaki Vulcan south on South Main toward Rochester Hill Road, and Katherine Keough, 35, of Rochester, was driving north in a 2016 Mazda.

As Keough attempted to enter the pharmacy parking lot, she crossed into the southbound lane colliding with Rellstab, police said.

The motorcyclist was found lying on the pavement with what were described as nonlife-threatening injuries. He was transported to Frisbie Hospital for treatment.

Rellstab was not wearing a helmet.
