Rochester pair arrested after Walnut St. gun incident

ROCHESTER - A Gonic man was arrested on Friday after police say he pulled a gun while threatening a female on Chestnut Street.

The incident unfolded after the 44-year-old female victim reported to police a little after noon that the man -whom she was familiar with - had threatened her with a gun.

Police responded to the scene and after interviewing witnesses located and arrested Wesley, J. Ramsey, 31, of 12 Florence Drive, Gonic, who was found to be a felon.

Ramsey was charged with criminal threatening with a deadly weapon, being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of drugs and also receiving stolen property since the firearm came back stolen from the State Police Online Telecommunications System.

While investigating the incident police also came in contact with

Robert D. Robichaud III, 40, of 12 Beaudoin Ct., Apt. B, Rochester, who was wanted on a capias warrant out of Strafford County Superior Court. Robichaud was taken to Strafford County Jail pending a court appearance that will likely occur today along with Ramsey.

The charge for which the capias was filed was not immediately available.
