Rochester pair arrested on fentanyl, meth trafficking charges

SOMERSWORTH - Two Rochester residents have been arrested by Somersworth Police following an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking in the Somersworth and Rochester area.

Jamie Stockford, 40, and William Barrett, 43, both of 54 Tonka St., were charged on Monday: Stockford with five counts of trafficking fentanyl and three counts of trafficking methamphetamine; and Barrett with two counts trafficking fentanyl and three counts of criminal liability for conduct of another.

Both were bailed on personal recognizance with arraignments set later this month in Strafford County Superior Court.

Somersworth Police were not immediately available for further comment on the case.

The arrests were the result of an investigation conducted by members of The Somersworth Police Department, Strafford County Sheriff's Department, and Rochester Police Department and was assisted by the New England State Police Information Network.
