ROCHESTER - Police responding to the report of a fight at the Anchorage Inn on Sunday found it was only verbal, but picked up two local men who were there on active warrants.

The scene unfolded around 7:20 p.m. as police were called for what was described as an active fight inside one of the rooms.

"When (police) arrived we were told it was just a verbal argument, and there were no signs of a physical fight," Rochester Police Capt. Todd Pinkham said today.

While on scene, however, police spoke with two men who both had active warrants for their arrest.

Justin E. Jerlinski, 34, a Rochester transient, was wanted on bench warrants on criminal trespass and contempt charges.

Cody Haycock, 24, of Gonic Road was wanted on credit card fraud and receiving stolen property charges.
