LEBANON, Maine - A Rochester teenager sustained serious head injuries today in a collision on Route 202 in Lebanon.

The accident occurred around 11 a.m. in the area of 413 Carl Broggi Hwy., when police say a 2011 Toyota Tacoma crossed the centerline and struck two vehicles in the opposite lane before crashing into a parked vehicle in a driveway. The truck then went through a wooded area and came to rest in a yard.

Scott Fryou, 17, of Rochester, N.H., a passenger in the truck, sustained serious head injuries and was flown by LifeFlight of Maine to Maine Medical Center in Portland.

The driver of the pickup, 18-year-old Robert Rapino of Lynnfield, Mass., was transported to Southern Maine Medical Center in Sanford with unspecified head injuries.

Neither teen was wearing his seat belt, police said.

The occupants of the two other vehicles were treated at the scene and released. The cause continues to be investigated.

Route 202 from Depot to Center road was closed for about four hours as troopers investigated the crash.
