ROCHESTER - The Rochester and Somersworth Walmarts will be undergoing major renovations over the next several months.
The two superstores are among nine in New Hampshire that will also be seeing major improvements, according to progressivegrocer.com.
As part of the project the pharmacy drive-thru is expected to be closed for around 16 weeks, but during that time frame delivery of prescription drugs will be expanded, according to Rochester Walmart personnel.

The closure of the drive-thru began last week.

The renovation effort is part of a statewide investment to modernize stores with updated layouts, advanced technology and improved in-store and online shopping, according to store officials.
They also note they will be expanding the grocery areas.
