Rochester woman gets 10-20 for city man's OD death

DOVER - Nina Batista of Rochester was sentenced to 10 to 20 years in state prison on Wednesday for supplying the fentanyl that killed a Rochester man last year.

The victim, 23-year-old Zackariah Glidden, was the father of a little girl, enjoyed skateboarding and had a successful job in Newington, according to his obituary in The Lebanon Voice. He succumbed to the overdose on Sept. 15, 2016.

Batista also pleaded guilty to two counts of conspiracy for selling a controlled drug and possession of a controlled drug.

As part of the plea deal worked out with prosecutors, she was also given a 3½-7 year suspended prison sentence for the possession charge.
