©PORTLAND, Maine - The Rochester woman seriously injured earlier this month when her motorcycle collided with an SUV on Milton Road appears to be finally out of the woods with an upgrade to satisfactory condition released by a Maine Med spokesman on Tuesday.
Donna Smith, 46, was seriously hurt in the April 10 collision, which occurred near the Route 202 interchange around 12:30 p.m.
She was Medflighted to Maine Med by Lifeflight of Maine, which just began servicing the area from its Sanford Airport crewbase last month.

The Agusta 109 twin jet helicopter, which carries a crew of three and cruises at 165 mph, was able to land at Skyhaven Airport in Rochester to pick up Smith just 14 minutes after being toned.
"The victim ended up getting to Maine Med about the time she would've been picked up with a helicopter coming out of Lewiston (Maine)," Lifeflight of Maine Executive Director Thomas Judge said last week.
Smith was initially listed in critical condition, but was upgraded to fair condition on April 13 before Tuesday's satisfactory, which is the most positive patient condition Maine Med gives.
Currently Lifeflight of Maine is available for service from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. They hope to be 24/7 sometime in May.
