DOVER, N.H. - A Rochester woman has been indicted in a felony domestic violence assault from June.

Samantha Engelking, 32, with a last known address of 14 Country Ridge Estates, faces up to seven years in prison in the assault that occurred in Rochester on June 17 when she allegedly "applied pressure to (her male partner's) throat that caused him to experience impeded breathing."

Engelking was indicted in an earlier assault on the same person that occurred sometime between January and February.

Both charges also include up to a $4,000 fine.

The Strafford County December grand jury indictments were handed down Dec. 17 and released Wednesday.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that enough evidence has been produced to warrant a trial.
