DOVER, N.H. - A Rochester woman has been indicted in a welfare fraud case that spanned some nine months beginning in 2013.
Corrisa White, 25, of 412 Salmon Falls Estates, Unit 26, made intentionally
false statements that failed to report her household composition, according to a Strafford County indictment handed down recently.
The charges constitute a Class B felony, which can draw a maximum state prison term of 15 years.
The exact amount of funds wrongly received was not released, only that it was more than $1,000
The crime allegedly occurred between Nov 2013 and August 2014.
An indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that a grand jury has found sufficient evidence to warrant moving forward to trial.
