Rochester woman nabbed for allegedly using drugs behind pubic library

ROCHESTER - A Rochester woman was arrested Wednesday after police say she was shooting up just steps from the Rochester Public Library and a drug addiction recovery center inside a church next door.

Jacqueline Reason, 30, of 59 Charles St., Apt. #B, was charged with possession of a controlled drug and bailed on personal recognizance.

Rochester Police dispatchers got the call a little after 4 p.m. for a male and female on the steps behind the church seen shooting up.

When police arrived a short time later they arrested Reason.

The arrest took place behind the city's public library and next door to the SOS Recovery Center, which aids substance abusers fight opioid and other drug addictions.
