Rochester's current virus count drops below 100 for first time in weeks

CONCORD - Rochester's current COVID-19 caseload dipped below the century mark for the first time in many weeks on Monday, continuing a downward trend in the daily number of cases identified and current hospitalizations statewide.

Rochester current case count is now 80, followed Dover with 79, Somersworth at 31, Farmington and Strafford at 15, Barrington at 21 and Milton dipping back into single digits with five.

Meanwhile, state DHHS officials announced 121 new positive test results for COVID-19 on Monday, for a current PCR test positivity rate of 1.4 percent.

The newly identified cases include 17 minors and 23 from Strafford County.

DHHS also announced two additional deaths related to COVID-19, both over 60.

There are currently 179 individuals hospitalized with COVID-19.
