Sanford man gets eight months for Oxycodone trafficking

PORTLAND, Maine - A Sanford man was sentenced Friday in U.S. District Court to eight months in prison and three years of supervised release for distribution of oxycodone.

James Levesque, 55, pleaded guilty to the charge on September 28, 2015.

Court records reveal that on March 7, 2014, in Sanford, Levesque sold forty 80-milligram oxycodone pills, through a middleman, to a cooperating source working with law enforcement.

This case was investigated by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the York County Sheriff's Office.
