SANFORD - A Sanford man was arrested Thursday and charged with possessing child pornography.
Robert Gouin, 35, of 124 Emery St. was taken into custody after his apartment was searched by members of the State Police computer crimes unit, Sanford Police and Homeland Security.
He is charged with possessing sexually explicit material after the computer crimes unit received a tip. Gouin was taken to the York County Jail, where he was later bailed and will appear in court in December.
An initial examination of Gouin's electronic equipment showed dozens of images and videos of child porn.
