Dig out your shovel today, because you'll be needing it tomorrow.

The season's first measurable snowfall is expected overnight Thursday, with two to four inches forecast for the Northern Seacoast.

To add insult to injury the storm is being ushered with biting and near-record cold. Today's high is expected to stay in the low 30s.

In the Rochester area the snow is expected to begin around 7 p.m. and end early Friday, which will only see a high around 35.

There is also the possibility locally for an inch or two of sleet to fall on Friday after the snow stops.

It could be worse. Northwestern Maine and northern New Hampshire could get up to a foot of snow in some areas.
