ROCHESTER - Service Credit Union held a ribbon cutting on Wednesday to celebrate its grand opening of their four-lane Rochester drive-thru at 48 Portland St.

The new drive-thru is in addition to their drive-thru and outside ATM at their standalone Rochester branch at 83 South Main St.

The brief ceremony during a chilly morning included remarks by Assistant Vice President Matt Beaulieu of member services and Alan Johnson, chairman of the Board of Directors for the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce, which organized the event.

Dave Dwyer, a field market representative for SCU, explained that the two drive-thrus will offer full in-person services during regular banking hours, while the outer two lanes will serve as 24/7 ATMs.

Service CU Content Manager Anna Baskin said now members can take care of all their banking needs without ever leaving their car.

"Quite convenient as the cooler temps have hit!" she added.
