ROCHESTER - You can add Market Basket to the list of stores that will inhabit Rochester's Ridge Marketplace on Route 11 when it opens next spring.

The store will be 80,000 square feet, according to a press release from Waterstone, the principal developer.

The store will mean Market Basket will have matched the presence of Hannaford, which has had two stores in the city for several years. Market Basket presently operates a store on Milton Road.

The new store is expected to have many amenities lacking in the current store, including hot food, a dining area, flat-screen TVs and free wi-fi.

Market Basket is a fixture of other Waterstone properties, including Lee Marketplace.

Market Basket joins Hobby Lobby, Marshall's, and Petco as committed entities to the Ridge Marketplace lineup.
